1981 Raleigh 51cm Road Bike - Reynolds 351 Tubing/10kgs only in Stroud, Gloucestershire for sale

This is a wonderful little road bike, the frame is a 1981 Raleigh with lovely lightweight 531 Reynolds tubing. It looks like it's had a re spray and is in great nick, only a few scuffs to the paint but no rust anywhere. The beautiful V cut lugging is note worthy and the chromed front forks look smart. It still has its original Weinmann brake callipers and Italian made Cinelli front stem and handlebars. The seat stem is a brand new Specialised, the scratches are from a pannier attachment, but it's a good, light and strong stem. The wheels, gears and breaks have all been serviced and work perfectly. This would make a great commuter bike or "getting back into" cycling autum/winter training bike for someone about 5ft5 or 5ft6. She really does run lovely and only weighs just 10kgs, the same as many modern £600 aluminium bikes.
