Salsa 'La Raza' steel-framed (winter) road bike in Stroud, Gloucestershire for sale

Classically-designed Salsa La Raza: a steel-framed road bike with carbon forks - a *proper* winter trainer. Colour is Vino Rojo - think 'metallic red wine' :) Bought the frame & forks new in late 2008, built it up and used it as a winter trainer for a couple of years. Ran it with full-length narrow mudguards with no issues. Gorgeous bike and gives a wonderful, comfortable, zingy ride. Take the mudguards off and it's a lovely steel-framed road bike. I quit racing and training in 2010 and the bike's pretty-much lain dormant since then, only coming out for a few local, summer loops. Frame: Tru Temper OX Platinum air-hardened steel main triangle (I think it’s Salsa’s version of 531 tubing), with a Cro-Moly rear triangle. Size 58cm. Top tube length is 575mm. Forks: Salsa carbon. Wheels: Mavic Ksyrium Elites - true with smooth bearings. Loads of braking surface. Bontrager titanium skewers. Drivetrain is all a mix of Campagnolo stuff: STi’s: Centaur 9-speed Chainset: Centaur 53/39. 175mm. Cassette: Campag 11-26. Front Mech: Daytona Rear mech: Xenon Brake calipers: Veloce skeleton. BB is Campag (I think) Chorus. Bars and stem: ITM Millennium. Stem is 120mm, bars are 44cm (o-o) with 'cream' bar tape to match decal. Headset: Cane Creek S2. Seven carbon stem stackers. Tyres: 23mm Continental Grand Prix 4000 Seatpost: Bontrager carbon Saddle: Charge Knife Pedals: Shimano Ultegra Couple of lightweight carbon Planet-X bottle cages. Brand-new SKS full-length mudguards.
